Why are black people mad about ‘The Help’ but love Tyler Perry foolishness?

Some black people are mad about the Help because its a white woman telling stories of black women. Its not like anything is preventing other black women from writing and telling these same stories. But it seems black directors and movie goers only want to see the latest jig comedy from Tyler Perry or the newest Big Momma House. I only wish more interesting movies like the Help came out.

Not me I really want to see that movie.
